Warri Wolves Warn Etebo Against Breaching His Contract

Nigeria club side, Warri Wolves have warned Oghenekaro Etebo not to sign ant contract with any foreign club as he still has a running contract with the club.

Etebo has reportedly signed a deal with a second division side in Portugal without the knowledge of the club.

The club’s media officer, Azuka Chiemeka told SportingLife that Etebo signed two years contract with Warri Wolves that runs till the end of 2016.

Chiemeka claimed that the 20-year old striker is trying to deny the Seasiders its right and privileges in the transaction he is having with the Portuguese side.

He said the club’s management is not happy with the way the player is going about the contract, stressing that they would do anything humanly possible to ensure that proper things are done.

“Oghenekaro Etebo is a player of Warri Wolves. His contract is still running with us. He signed two years contract with us and his contract will expire at the end of this 2016 season,” Chiemeka told SportingLife.

“We have heard that he is moving abroad and that he is moving to a second division side in Portugal. The way he is going about it, it shows that he wants to deny Warri Wolves its right and privileges in that transaction for not involving us.

“And the club management is frowning at it and they have called him to come and sort things out with them. And if he refused to do the right thing we will go to any lenght to make our own stand known. We can as well take his case to CAS. The way he is going about it is not normal. He should do things in a professional way,” Chiemeka said.
