Abia Warriors Maintain Unbeaten Record Against Heartland

Warriors kept the tradition of remaining unbeaten to Heartland by eking out a 1-0 victory at the home of their rivals through Michael Olaha’s goal in the 67th minute in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.

Olaha came off the bench to replace Henry Ochuba and was on the pitch for 20 minutes when he scored the goal that turned out to be the winner.

It is the second time, Olaha is coming off the bench to score for Abia Warriors to acquire the super-sub tag.

Abia Warriors are now top of the standings with seven points and are one of three unbeaten sides in the NPFL with the others being Akwa United and newcomers Ikorodu United, who both played lesser number of games.
