Alberico Barbosa Da Silva Is The First Brazilian To Score In NPFL

Alberico Barbosa da Silva has become the first Brazilian to score in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Brazilian was one of three foreign players in the FC Ifeanyiubah squad that scored in their 3-1 win over Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Wednesday.

Ghanaian Kofi Nti Boakye and Ivorian forward, Seka Pascal were the others among the goal before Wasiu Jimoh managed a consolation for his club.

Alberico was among five foreigners named in FC Ifeanyiubah’s match day squad. The other two, Williams Walter da Silva (a Brazilian) and Ngoma Luamba, started from the bench.
