The Super Eagles who are currently in Kaduna preparing for the all-important AFCON 2017 qualifier match against The Pharaohs of Egypt are complaining about the harsh weather.
The match will be played on Friday by 5 pm.
The team trained on Tuesday evening at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium after their trip from Abuja where they had commenced preparations.
According to media reports, the players expressed their feelings towards the hot weather just as Watford’s striker Odion Ighalo who tweeted that the sun in Kaduna could ‘bleach’ the skin.
All the players except Elderson Echiejile trained on Tuesday evening under the watchful eyes of coach Samson Siasia.
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi also took part in the session after shrugging off the food poisoning that sidelined him earlier in the day. The 19-year-old’s presence at the Super Eagles training put an end to reports that he was still mulling an England decision.
He walked around the pitch a few times before he was put through aerobic exercises and light ball juggling.
Siasia’s men are expected to continue training on Wednesday morning to fine-tune strategies for the Pharaoh’s who have revealed their aspiration of caging the Eagles before their own fans.
