The Super Eagles will depart for Egypt on Monday for the reverse leg of the AFCON 2017 qualifier against the Pharaohs in Alexandria on Tuesday.
A four-man advance team, sent by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been on ground since Monday to prepare the ground for the arrival of the team.
According to the Super Eagles twitter handle, “Our travel plans to Alexandria, Egypt have been modified. We’ll now travel via chartered flight from Abuja Monday. Thanks for your support.”
The team was initially billed to travel today via Egypt Air but will charter a flight to Alexandria which could set the NFF back by as much as $300,000.
