This is surely good times for Leicester City players as the club’s billionaire owner is said to be buying each of the club’s 30-man squad a luxury Mercedes following their English Premier League title win.
According to the Daily Mail online, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who is reported to be Thailand’s fourth richest man, plans to award the historic Foxes with a Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive, which retails at just over €40k.
Furthermore, the £2billion rated Duty-Free tycoon has also promised Jamie Vardy and co an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas for their unlikely triumph. He is known to give fans free beer at the King Power Stadium on match-days.
Rivaddhanaprabha bought the club in 2010 for the relatively small fee of €49.3m, but in light of Leicester’s recent success, the midlands outfit is said to be worth close to 11 times that figure now.
