Goodluck Jonathan Praises Dream team VI, Urges Them To Win Bronze

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has commended the Nigerian Dream Team for their performance after they lost to Germany. The team lost to Germany in the semi-final of the Olympics football on Wednesday, August 17 after they conceded a goal in the first half.

He took to his Facebook page to applaud the team and urged them to bounce back in their match against Honduras on Saturday, August 20.

He said: “The Dream Team gave it their best. A commendable performance. All is not lost. I look forward to a resurgence against Honduras on Saturday.”

The former president seems to have been following the performance of the team as he also congratulated them after their match against Denmark which they won.

He wrote: “I am so proud of our Dream Team whose victory over Denmark has pushed them through to the medal rounds. ‪#‎ProudlyNaija‬. GEJ.”
