Arsenal beat Watford comfortably at Vicarage Road on Saturday with the Gunners riding three first half goals to victory.
Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil were all on the scoresheet to put Arsenal in a commanding position and although Roberto Pereyra hooked home in the second half it was a routine win for Arsene Wenger‘s side.
With their first win of the season Arsenal now has four points from three games, while Watford remains winless and has just one point from Walter Mazzarr’s first three games in charge.
Arsenal were awarded a penalty kick when Ozil’s teasing ball towards Sanchez saw the latter clattered into by Nordin Amrabat.
Cazorla slotted home the penalty kick to put the Gunners 1-0 up early on and soon after his ball across the goal found Theo Walcott who was denied by Heurelho Gomes
Sanchez was then slotted in but Gomes denied him at the near post but soon after the Chilean forward was celebrating.
Theo Walcott’s cross from the right was nudged over the line by Sanchez at the back post and Arsenal deservedly led 2-0.
It was 3-0 right on half time as Sanchez got free on the left and his inch-perfect cross found Ozil who ran in unmarked.
